From the heavens who pours, O thee
To quench this seethed sphere
With cool drops dripping here
Drenching him , the blessed donee.
I abhor thy friend Mr. Thunderclap
Who flashes and frightens me , poor chap
Solely timid, but still cool, as yonder
Art thou, the greatest natural wonder.
O rain, thou alight and abound: for bliss,
To ablute the world, the earth,
The minds of those in paths amiss,
And instill a sense of amity in each birth.
O soul of earth, may thee live long!
To enchant the world as an eternal song!
